BOARDMAN, Ohio – Representatives from Royal Glow Beauty donated time and expertise to create an uplifting experience focused on self-care, confidence and feeling beautiful inside and out to individuals served by Gateways to Better Living.
The Village Day Program on Tuesday welcomed the Royal Glow Beauty representatives who provided free skin care education and mini facials for women with developmental disabilities.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for both organizations,” said Kristie Murphy, community engagement director at Gateways to Better Living. “Our individuals get to experience something truly special that boosts their confidence and self-esteem, while Royal Glow Beauty gains valuable experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. It’s a win-win.”
Royal Glow Beauty plans to bring the same experience to Gateways’ other day program locations over the next few months.
