Staff provides support to individuals who reside in independent living settings. Individuals in supported living enjoy a home that offers a higher level of independence and flexible support patterns. Services are provided on an individual basis, based on their needs. Support is coordinated with nursing and therapy services to ensure that physical and behavioral health needs are met.
Training, Assistance and Support
Gateways operates numerous individual options waiver homes across Mahoning and Trumbull counties. This includes residences featuring wheelchair accessibility to support individuals with multiple disabilities. People who live in our waiver homes receive training, assistance and support in areas such as health, personal care, recreation, transportation, finances and homemaking to ensure their needs are addressed at all times.
